Get Involved

In our anniversary year we’re challenging you to take on 20kms for 20 years of ShelterBox. Whether it’s laps of the garden or miles on the road, every dollar you raise will help us reach more families after disaster.

In the year 2000 ShelterBox was created by one Rotary club. They founded an organisation of action, ready to respond.

With amazing support, we have since helped over 1.5 million people recover after disaster. We remain as determined as our founding Rotary club members to rise to the challenges we face and provide more shelter for families than ever before.

THE ROTARY CLUB OF HELSTON-LIZARD CYCLE

20kms for 20years challenge by the Rotary Club of Helston-Lizard

In our anniversary year we have been inspired yet again by our founding club, Helston-Lizard Rotary, who are taking on 20-miles with a sponsored cycle.

Colin Benney PHF, Past President of The Rotary Club of Helston-Lizard, said:

“I thought the club needed to do something to celebrate the 20th Anniversary and came up with idea of a 20-mile cycle ride from Helston to The lizard and back.

“One mile for each year of operations. I am pleased to say I have received great support. All riders are looking forward to it and we just hope the weather will be kind.”

Follow in their tyre tracks and organise your own 20 for 20 challenge to raise vital funds for ShelterBox.
