ShelterBox are assessing the need for aid in Mexico after Hurricane Jova and torrential rains struck the region.
The latest UN impact report states that flooding and landslides have affected over half a million people within the region. So far ‘countless communities’ have received no emergency assistance, the WFP (UN World Food Programme) reports.
SRT volunteers, Laura Jepson (UK) and Mike Freeman (US), have arrived in the coastal state of Colima, Mexico to begin identifying the need for aid in country while ShelterBox monitors the situation in surrounding countries; Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador and Guatemala. back
