ShelterBox is an international disaster relief organisation that provides shelter and lifesaving equipment, to families who have been displaced or made homeless by natural and other disasters.
Responding to over 200 disasters in more than 75 countries, ShelterBox has firmly established itself at the forefront of disaster relief.
The cost of a box is $1,500, which includes delivery direct to those who need it. Every box bears its own unique number so that as a donor you can track your box all the way to its recipient via our website which can be found here
Highly trained ShelterBox Response Teams or (SRTs) distribute our boxes on the ground, working closely with local organisations, international aid agencies and Rotary clubs worldwide.
ShelterBox New Zealand is supported by individuals and organisations, including Rotary Clubs, community groups, schools, faith groups, businesses and foundations.
ShelterBox New Zealand is an affiliate of the ShelterBox Trust and is administered in New Zealand by The Rotary Club of Mosgiel Charitable Trust.
